Analysis of users' attitudes about the cycling
Abstract
Cycling has numerous advantages over other modes of transport, both for users and for society as a whole. Although cycling is an option for many users, a significant number of them opt for other modes of transport. In order to support policies that promote cycling, this paper analyses the attitudes and habits of all users, whether they use a bicycle or not, as well as a description of their behaviour under different conditions. For data acquisition an online survey method is applied. By applying the obtained results, it is possible to influence the development of bicycle traffic and, in general, to increase the usage of bicycling.
