Abstract

In the past, there were no examples of Cost-Benefit Analiyee (CBA) projects for cycling roads in the economic evaluation of projects in Serbia (Prefeasibility study in the General Project, or the Feasibility Study in the Conceptual Project). In the last decade with the awareness of the benefits of cycling, as well as the trends coming from Europe, especially projects funded by EU funds, there are a number of projects in this field, primarily on EuroVelo routes, as well as in cities. The obvious lack of adequate literature in this field is due to the writing of this paper. Through the review of the relevant literature in this field, the cost-benefit models will be analyzed. After the analysis of the existing literature, it will work on making recommendations for the preparation of Feasibility Studies for bicycle routes and bicycle infrastructure in Serbia.
